Mysterious "fire phone" spotted with Tegra 4i. Is it from HTC? - Giga.de

So far Nvidia Tegra 4i, a powerful processor for mobile devices was officially presented with integrated LTE module, but so far there are no devices. Now, the first smartphone appears however, that nevertheless very reminds of HTC.

AnandTech already had the opportunity to deal more closely with the unit. While the phone is not yet officially branded (instead it is only equipped with a “brand” logo), but my colleague Jens and I are in agreement that the device but strong looks for an HTC model. But we can of course be wrong.

A few preliminary technical details have already come to the device:

  • display : 4.8 inches with a 720p resolution
  • main camera : 13 MP
  • processor : Nvidia Tegra 4i
  • Memory : 1 GB RAM
  • Internal Memory : 8/16/32 GB
  • Dimensions : 138 x 72 x 7.9 mm
  • publication period : Q1 2014
  • Price 300 to 400 dollars
  • Until the first quarter of 2014, it is still quite a while, maybe doing anyway even before anything, after all, the device looks indeed quite far off and it is also too slow at the time, that the first smartphones or tablets come with Nvidia’s latest generation of processors on the market.

What do you think of the design of the “fire phone”? And what do you think who is behind the hardware? Could it be HTC or is it maybe someone else entirely?
