HTC Fetch: Bluetooth accessory to protect your smartphone - inside-handy.de

HTC has introduced Fetch a new accessory that helps you not to lose the smartphone. Using Bluetooth 4.0, the nearly 3 centimeters wide and long device connects to the HTC smartphone. If the devices remove more than 15 meters apart, both devices ring until you’re back within the 15-meter radius.

class=”c2″> HTC Fetch is powered by a standard button cell to provide electricity for half a year, according to HTC’s information. Since Fetch is very small, you can easily attach the device on his key ring. Thus, not only the smartphone, but the keys are secured. The HTC smartphone is also registered with a distance when you are outside the Bluetooth range, the last place of Fetch and helps the device later on.

In addition you have the possibility to locate the phone manually. By a button on Fetch, a loud beep on your phone is activated, if it is located nearby. You can also use the camera with Fetch and thus take pictures from a distance.

Drama with HTC: top managers and designers arrested, suspected infidelity ... - Engadget German

Taiwan is currently being rocked by an affair with HTC, which heavily into melodramatic overlaps: the company have deceived with phony orders to $ 334,000 Leading product managers and designers to who should serve as a starting capital of a new company called Xiaoyu appears that the HTC staff already have established – apparently they were now about to terminate at HTC and to work independently with trade secrets in his luggage. Main suspects are HTC’s vice chairman for product design, Thomas Chien (pictured above), chief of the Research and Development Department, Wu Chien Hung, and the head of the design team, Justin Huang. Now the trio and a number of alleged accomplice was arrested media attention, partly to search their offices and homes, then Chien and Wu were remanded in custody, while the other HTC employees were set at liberty on bail. Despite these measures, the most serious damage to HTC might already be irreversible: Details were allegedly tra nsferred to the upcoming Sense 6.0 UI to Xiaoyu in China. As the drama in the Chinese TV is: in the video after the break.

HTC One High: New Photo surfaced and confirmed fingerprint sensor - PocketPC.ch

The HTC one Max was photographed again and in this case even the same on multiple photos. The big brother of the flagship HTC HTC one, with its six inch the next phablet that. Alongside the Nokia Bandit (we reported), is already to be presented and published in late September In the pictures, however, not only the front of the device is to detect, but also the massive Alurücken. Among other reasons, the HTC Max One is often referred to in the media as “Alumonster”.

fingerprint sensor on the HTC Max One now confirmed
After a few weeks before the first pictures of the HTC Max One leaked and it was a fingerprint sensor to recognize has been suggested that this is only a good photo montage. The latest leaked images contain, however, again a sensor to scan the fingerprint. This can be found on the images below the camera.

This now seems clear that HTC has installed a biometric security mechanism in its HTC One Max. It can be seen on another picture, a menu that has the symbol of a fingerprint. It could be in all probability the fingerprint check on and off. Uncertain, however, whether this is just a Chinese version.

So the differences between international and Chinese variant were also detected in HTC one. In the Chinese HTC One could remove the back, similar to the HTC One Max is to be recognized here. Whether such changes are, however, Regions also to greater things, such as a fingerprint sensor, employed

applications remains to be seen. Still somewhat limited
It therefore remains to be seen whether the fingerprint sensor will be installed even with European appliances. Whether the sensor can serve as a prominent feature, however, to attract more customers for themselves, is highly doubtful. The existing security mechanisms of Android would theoretically be enough. Thus, if it were, the sensor merely a gimmick that would likely be used less frequently than the standard security mechanisms.

If the rumors are true, the HTC Max One is a Snapdragon 800 SoC be provided by Qualcomm, 2GB of RAM, a 5.9 inch large Full HD display, an ultra-pixel camera and Android 4.3 and the Sense UI 5.5. The presentation is expected for the end of September (we reported).

    All about One Max

HTC and Robert Downey Jr. – One Max in approach Shortly after the HTC One Max showed first photos HTC has launched an advertising campaign that promises great things. We appreciate so as to 6 inches tall.

HTC One Day: Images from the Galaxy Note 3 competitors

HTC One mini comes in July, one in September, Max

     / imgs/85/9/2/6/9/3/3/daniel3_11.jpg-3a796c8bac319427.jpeg by Daniel / / 29/08/2013 16:35 Google+

The HTC One Mini is just so on the market already and the network reacts to more information about new products of Taiwan. For several months, we continue to hear rumors about a “big brother” of the One HTC: HTC One Max Meanwhile, it is fairly certain that it’s not even there to see at the IFA this device – but there is still news: ePrice from Taiwan has released new photos that we take for autentisch.

On one of the pictures, the three brothers HTC One Mini One and One Max can be seen. Here the difference in size between 4.3 inches, 4.7 inches and 5.9 inches of the upcoming model is obvious.

     Image: ePrice

The pictures show the back of a square cutout in the metal. Behind the fingerprint scanner will hide. Because of the shape and the height we tap a capacitance-based sensor, in which you put on your finger on a sensor surface. There is room for an optical sensor in our opinion not, and sensors that detect the imprint of the finger as you drag, are not square but rectangular. Regardless of the sensor in the prototype shown in the photo seems to be not installed yet: The metal of the sensor chip would shine ruddy

    .But

but the photo shows a second SIM card slot. It should therefore be the Chinese version of the HTC One Max. That the battery cover is actually removable, we stop at China model is realistic – perhaps it looks at the HTC one for Germany but different. The bottom line but that does not matter: According ePrice the battery is not removable by the user, despite the lid replaced. Incidentally, the three points on the back are probably the bottom right contacts for an external dock – or even for a cell phone case with wireless charging technology à la Nokia

    .

The housing is similar to the current image according to the Interestingly, more than one Mini large One: To the frame moves in fact a strip of plastic, which comprises at the front of the display panel

    .

That the 5.9-inch display is an IPS LCD and displays full HD resolution, is set as well as 32 GB of storage and 2 GB of RAM. The processor is originally called that a Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 is to be used – but the retail launch would also have the stronger brother Snapdragon 800 be available in sufficient quantities. As a precaution, we therefore tap times to the more upbeat CPU.

And when that One comes Max now? Not at IFA, that’s for sure. According to information from Taiwan, it should be the end of October so far. This is true of course for the Chinese market, but the time stamp appears to us also for the European model to be quite realistic.

Android 4.2.2 for HTC X, XL and Butterfly: rollout without any problems? - Ukonio.de

The update seems to run on Android 4.2.2 for HTC X, XL and Butterfly user without any problems, if it were not for the thing with the app shortcuts

    Follow ukonio.de on Google+

Until now seems the update to Android 4.2.2 for users of the HTC X, One XL and HTC Butterfly without problems to go “on stage”. Sense 5 also fits without problems.

accumulate in forums only messages according to which after the update from Android 4.1.2 to 4.2.2 some app shortcuts have disappeared on the deskop. The curious thing: Even been if the links again arranged according to the One X and his Co., the problem repeated after a restart of the device. Whether it is a fundamental problem, or not, the next few days will certainly show.

new firmware to HTC X, XL and butterfly for several days, users can easily download OTA (“over the air”).

More information about Android 4.2.2 update

The HTC one makes a splash this year. But the flagship of the Taiwanese IT giant of the last year and were able to be proud of. Only the outstanding Android update caused perhaps with so many users now for “irritation”. Now, however, increases with respect to the Android 4.2.2 update in this country white smoke on: The rollout was for HTC One X One X +, the One XL and the HTC Butterfly, which still was somewhat surprising its way to the European market started.

    While

for the HTC One Android 4.3 will follow shortly, be the One X, X +, XL and Butterfly therefore considered probably the penultimate jelly bean “stage”. But that’s not all: the HTC Sense user interface comes in version 5 of the way. By adapting the One X and are “colleagues” now at least software technically on par with the new flagship, the HTC one. The home screen can now be adjusted about at will. A revised gallery is “on board”, just as the possibility of a video cut together. “Blink Feed” (a self-matching to news overview) is a new tool and the Music Channel has also been adjusted.

all “dreamy” HTC X users the “Daydream” screen saver may be the icing on the cake of the update. And the camera functionality has been improved. For HTC X, X + ‘, XL and Butterfly user therefore no wish remains open thanks to Android 4.2.2. Okay, except maybe an early rollout of Android 4.3.

As usual, Google’s firmware OTA (“over the air”) may be obtained. Since the rollout occurs in several waves, it may be that one or the other of the Utilized yet … one or the other day will have to endure.

    We wish all

One X Co. and users enjoy using Android 4.2.2 and would welcome feedback and assessments to update.

    Updats Android: HTC’s gas

HTC seems to want to give current in terms of Android updates gas. After only a few days before it became public that the rollout of Android 4.2.2 for HTC One X One X + starts, Jason Mackenzle proclaimed, “big shot” at HTC, via Twitter, that Android 4.3 for HTC One should follow the end of September.

explicitly mentioned Mackenzle regarding the Android 4.3 update for the One, the United States and Canada – Asia and Europe but usually are not long behind. The HTC one was delivered in April with Android 4.2.2 and the update would thus quite timely to the current – get Jelly Bean “stage” – and possibly last. Also the HTC one X and one X + Heimsen as described above, a plus one, because: According to the colleagues of phonearena.com Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean will soon be landing in Europe

    .

But not only Android 4.2.2, also the HTC Sense UI gets an update. When exactly is Android 4.2.2 along with Sense 5.0 being rolled out in this country, is not yet clear – but in some countries the update is already available. There is talk of days. Thus, HTC X disciples can look forward to new features: Flashing Feed (Adjusted start screen), Video highlights (30-second montages), a new gallery for photo view, and a revised camera app are just some of the new modifications

    .

Another change: The battery status is displayed on the HTC One X One X + and in percentages. The 380 MB update for X One can easily OTA (“over the air”) are related. While the Android 4.3 update currently leaving some Nexus users clueless ( ukonio.de has Android 4.3 to install on all Nexus devices without problems …) – boot problems can be the result – applies the update to 4.2.2 compared to 4.1.2 as a pretty big jump.

therefore remains to be seen whether the Samsung Galaxy S3 might still receive the update to 4.2.2 – and later to 4.3. However, is certain: HTC has made regarding his slightly grizzled flagship race, at least in this update cycle

HTC One Mini: Little Brother in the test photo: HTC

Almost as good as the real flagship: the HTC One Mini comes with almost all the advantages of its big brother. With few exceptions, the smartphone is as good as the HTC one.

At first glance, the HTC One Mini is processed as elegant as the HTC one. It feels good in the hand and has a sleek aluminum case. Through the 4.3-inch display, the smartphone can be operated with one hand and thus has a higher comfort than its bigger brother.

The display features additionally with rich colors and near perfect resolution. Also, the touchscreen convinced and sets the input to error. In addition, the latest version of the Sense UI 5 was installed. In addition, integrated Android 4.2 on the HTC One Mini, which was replenished only the larger model with an update. The sound quality of the smartphone is very good, both in terms of phone calls and music playback.

owners still have to make some compromises compared to the HTC one. The Nahfunktechnik NFC, infrared, and the slot for an external memory card are not included in the smartphone. The processor is a bit weaker and the memory only 16 instead of 32 gigabytes in size. As compensation, you have two years the possibility Dropbox with 50 gigabytes of memory to use.

Overall, the HTC one mini but does not hide behind his big brother. It is handy and easy to use, convinces with high-resolution display and a fast pace. It brings a very good sound, was very well made and is therefore a cheaper alternative.

The Wall Street Journal reported that HTC was working on its own OS for the Chinese market. It is unclear whether this is a complete self-development or an Android version with major changes.

We already reported several times about the fact that it’s not really good at the moment HTC . Accordingly, the Company

seems to be currently looking for new strategies to reverse the trend. In the Chinese market

is very important for HTC. Because here you could increase the market share from the first to the second quarter from 2.6 percent to 6 percent. That does not by too much, but is a stark increase. In general, China is in a true smartphone boom, the market is growing and growing.

HTC has even now for the first time loss account . Which is pushed in part to the chairman Peter Chou said the absence of a clear vision or strategy for the company. Whether this is true or not, we can not answer. But the fact is that HTC is currently trying by all agents, to get as much attention . Very surprising, however, that precisely the Taiwan-based HTC fulfills your request. Finally, Taiwan is claimed by China remains as a province.

The new operating system will begin this year and be tailored to the needs of the Chinese market. HTC apparently trying to open up more promising markets for its problems in the U.S. and Europe. The huge Chinese market will continue to grow. So far dominates Android with a market share of over 90 percent – primarily because of the prices. The Chinese government has encouraged companies several times to develop their own software platforms in order to be less dependent on western companies like Google . For the desktop, it has already chosen Ubuntu Linux as the basis. According to the sources, the WSJ is HTC Cher Wang boss personally, which is responsible for communication with the Chinese authorities.

HTC sits in Taiwan. Apparently, it has no concerns with the requirements of the People’s Republic – that mainland China, which claims Taiwan as a province – the latest. As early as 2012 HTC announced that it will create the revolution in China. If the reports about the smartphone OS prove true, the development must already be underway at that time.

Stiftung Warentest 16 more smartphones brought to the laboratory and its updated leaderboard with over 100 mobile phones. New leader is the Samsung Galaxy S4 HTC One can clearly behind in the test. Amazing: Apple’s nearly a year old iPhone can still keep up

    .

Stiftung Warentest released a smartphone-test, which always makes for great attention. Anyone who has one of the tested devices wants to know if he has chosen correctly. Those who want to buy one, you may make the decision for or against one of the models depending on the test results. This time there were also three very secure popular Android flagships among the 16 specimens: the Samsung Galaxy S 4, the Sony Xperia Z and the HTC one. In addition, Stiftung Warentest has started a little late LG Optimus G-cars, four budget Android smartphones, three Windows Phone devices from Nokia and the new BlackBerry Q pre-buttoned.

clear winner with a total score of 1.7, the Samsung Galaxy S4. “The S4 has the fastest processor, the best camera, the best GPS function and the best battery in the test,” says the notice. Surprisingly, none of the other flagships occupied the second place, but the smaller brother of the test winner. The S4 Galaxy Mini (note 1) certify the inspector an equally durable battery as the large S4. Thus, the device could in tight race at the top of the LG Optimus G (2,0), the HTC one (2.1) and the Sony Xperia Z (2,2) refer to the courts.

    cameras also tested

is interesting how Stiftung Warentest rated the cameras of the five best. The Galaxy S4 received in this discipline a smooth 2.0, the S4 and the Optimus Mini G is a 2.6, the ultra pixel camera of the HTC one is rated 2.7, the Xperia Z had to deal with a score of 3.0 be satisfied.

The Optimus G is indeed out as a 2013er model, but was actually introduced in the fall of 2012. The Optimus G is indeed out as a 2013er model, but was actually presented in the autumn of 2012 (Photo: LG).

The HTC one has a better ranking and therefore missed because the testers have found a reception problem: “Touched the user the unit back down, breaking the power a radio.”

BlackBerry Q10 scored with sixth place and the overall rating of 2.3 a moderate success. As expected, Stiftung Warentest liked the good physical keyboard. Also, the testers praise the battery of the “attractive niche product.”

Nokia has tested Stiftung Warentest not a top model, but cheaper devices. Of the dei smartphones with the average around 170 euros cheapest Lumia 520 with the total score 2.5 surprisingly well. The Lumia 720 but ended up in last place, because it broke the test case.

total are now in the Hall of Fame by Stiftung Warentest in the top four Samsung Galaxy devices: the S4, the Grade 2 LTE, the S4 and S3 mini LTE. Apple’s iPhone 5, which is significantly older than the top quartet is the overall grade of 2.0 in fifth place. In addition to the LG Optimus G, conquered the 5th, did not further tested the new smartphones in the top 9 of Stiftung Warentest.

HTC Max One - New and interesting pictures leaked - Giga.de

While all large companies to introduce more devices at IFA, HTC is holding back very far. There is no information about additional products or other innovations. This may be because it is either not new or that HTC seeks the attention of the IFA.

Zack And, there are new rumors of HTC. Besides its own operating system for China, the company is also working on other smart phones of course. The rumors about an HTC Max One further densify, now there are more photos of the ePrice Photo Leaks.

It turns out that on the back of an area for the fingerprint sensor is really present in this device and two SIM cards are possible. For me, an indication that it either is a China-variant or an imitator. Various dummies from the iPhone 5S and 5C are also to be found everywhere on the net, since a dummy from HTC One Max would not surprise me.

  • Also on board was also a slot for the micro SD card. Another indication of a Chinese version, data geeks are sure to be pleased. I would be happy if this variant will be shipped worldwide and not just the Far East remains reserved. The plastic frame of the HTC One mini seems to be probably also installed on the HTC One Max. For a possible collision handy as the plastic absorbs well.

Hmm, so all I do not know what to make of the phablet. It looks really huge! But a fingerprint sensor? I do not believe that the One Max will come with it. The One line-up would be so much already at a disadvantage when it is believed that Apple will equip the one with a sensor. What do you think? HTC One max with fingerprint sensor
