Today HTC has the Butterfly S officially unveiled at an event in Taiwan. Essentially, these are technically a size slightly inflated HTC One – Ultra-pixel camera, full HD display, boom sound, sense 5 and Blink Feed inclusive

The biggest difference is thus in the form factor. Thus, the display of the Butterfly S in the diagonal 5.0 is great, the One, there are “only” 4.7 inches. The resolution is identical with 1920 × 1080 pixels. When the camera Butterfly S is also on the 4-megapixel ultra pixel clippers, which celebrated the HTC One premiere. And the boom sound stereo speakers on the front, we have already seen in the 4.7-inch cars.

The processor though as there the Snapdragon SoC-600 is used here. But the Butterfly S is likely to be 1.9 compared to 1.7 GHz a touch faster way than the little brother of one. The RAM is 2 GB in size on both devices.

Speaking Memory: While the HTC one in this country brings 32 GB storage capacity, the Butterfly S is satisfied with 8 GB. For this, the 5.0-inch device but also has a microSD card slot on board. Another point that speaks for the Butterfly S, is the stronger of 3200 mAh to 900 mAh battery.

a start date for the local market, there is not yet – and may we be waiting in vain on these. The Butterfly S is simply built too close to one and thus would not fit in HTC’s current strategy to put all energy into the One. My guess is that the next device we have announced for the German market, which will be HTC One Mini. Is rumored to eventually see the light of the world in the course of July.

the Butterfly S is currently announced only for Taiwan and will be available in the colors black, white, gray and red there in July. The retail price is 22,900 TWD there, which is equivalent to about 575 euros.
