Thus, the Taiwanese manufacturer wants to make up for lost sales again due to supply shortages. Because of missing components, the start of Android smartphones was delayed in some markets.

According to a report from Focus Taiwan continues HTC’s production capacity monthly high, while the supply chain issues have largely done. Jack Tong, president of HTC North Asia, said the news agency CNA, the production volume will double in May from the previous month and in June rise again, so they could meet the “strong demand”.

“Our capacity is expected to increase significantly from mid-May. We are optimistic for our high-end sales from April to June, “said Tong on.

HTC’s chief marketing officer Benjamin Ho had previously acknowledged that the launch of the One had been delayed in some areas due to procurement problems at various camera components. Because the camera is designed specifically for HTC, production’ll not increase as fast.
