HTC One: official CyanogenMod builds available (Short News) - Giga.de

After a great progress in the development of AOSP ROMs for the HTC one was reported in recent days and weeks, now the first official test build was released.

divYesterday

first Codeworkx developers had brought the main camera on the One and running and today can be a official test build Load from the CM servers. In the next few days to follow first nightlies.

There still are test versions, there are still some bugs :

  • in outgoing call audio can be hit or miss. If you enable the ‘touch sounds’ and start a call using the dial pad you want to have audio on outgoing calls. Incoming calls Should behave more or less normally
  • The IR sensor does not work
  • The camera only takes 2MP shots (There is an updated camera app found here, but it will only work if you have the flash set to ‘On’)
  • WIFI Calling is not present
  • If you can not find your files, use a file manager to browse to the top level directory (root directory), then navigate to / data / media
  • The menu button is Not Properly Accounted for. Assign someFunction of one of the hardware keys (like long-press Home) to menu, or do without until the dev’s are viable to implement Implements a solution.
  • You may need to update the APN settings DEPENDING on what carrier you are with
  • Who despite the problems would take a look at the Rome, which they found on the CyanogenMod site for download.

How to flash Rome can be found in the XDA-Developers .
