eagerly waiting for the tech world at the successor to the HTC One , the Taiwanese company is likely to introduce in February. Master leaker @ evleaks has now on Twitter preliminary specifications of the HTC One 2014 betrayed, probably dating from a prototype of the smartphone.
HTC has shown in the past year that Android smartphones can be not only fast, but also very sexy. Since the launch of the HTC one (test) in February 2013, the company has then – at least in our latitude – on the low end and mid-range segment as well as the one-derivatives mini (test) and Max (test) limited, a successor to the HTC one will get only this year.
The infamous leaker @ evleaks has now posted on Twitter the specifications of the currently known as M8 successor, but they explicitly marked as “preliminary” – we believe that this so do not even come from the final form of the instrument. Nevertheless, they correspond to what is currently expected from a high end smartphone: Aboard Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC are (MSM8974) and 2 GB of RAM, the display has been enlarged to 5 inches diagonal, however, preserve the resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels .
The camera uses again HTCs Ultra pixel technology, which is not known whether the resolution of 4MP was increased. The front camera on the other hand dissolves with ordinary 2.1 MP, the software includes Android 4.4 and HTC’s Sense UI KitKat in version 6.0. As with its predecessors, the latest WLAN standard ac is used.
The leaked specifications correspond to what Android Community had written to the Wi-Fi certification of the M8, what Android Police writer Artem Russakovskii but doubted greatly. Since these specifications but simply represent the best of the currently available mobile technology, we assume that the final hardware will not differ materially.
little less down to earth seems to be the assertion of a Taiwanese analysts, the business magazine Forbes quotes: This speaks of interchangeable camera lenses which are optimized for good and bad lighting conditions. In addition to be built again, a fingerprint sensor, which is now to be clearly useful, thanks to better app support than the HTC One Max We are skeptical especially with regard to the first statement, but they do not want to leave unmentioned the sake of completeness.
