The HTC one mini differs mainly in price and the technical equipment of the big brother instead of a quad-core SoCs has built a weaker dual-core 1.4 GHz processor (Snapdragon MSM8930 400), instead of 2 GB RAM it has only 1 GB. With 16 GB of flash it has half as much built-in memory, just as the One lacks a microSD slot. The recommended retail price is 450 euros, 200 euros lower than that of the One.

HTC continues to rely on a low-resolution camera (4 megapixels) with a large sensor. In c’t test the technically comparable camera of the HTC One against Galaxy S4 and Lumia 925 was not convincing, but managed good results overall, including in low light conditions.
