HTC has officially unveiled a new entry-level smartphone. The HTC Desire is equipped with a 200 Snapdragon S1 single-core CPU with a clock speed of one gigahertz and has 512 megabytes of memory. The operating system sets HTC android 4.04. on the smartphone and also equips the cell phone with Beats audio.

the HTC Desire 200 provides the Taiwanese manufacturer introduced a new entry-level smartphone. The 3.5 inch display offers a resolution of the data sheet only 480 x 320 pixels. Has built on the rear 5-megapixel camera, a lens with a maximum aperture of F2, 8 and 34 mm focal length. Videos can be recorded (640 x 480 pixels) only in VGA. A front camera for video calling but does not offer the device. The internal memory of the phone is four gigabytes and can be expanded using MicroSD memory card up to 32 gigabytes.
The HTC Desire has 200 radio modules for GSM / GPRS / EDGE and UMTS / HSPA and WLAN. Also on Bluetooth and GPS does not give the owner. The replaceable battery has a total capacity of 1,230 mAh (milliamp hours), which is not particularly powerful. Nevertheless, HTC is the maximum standby time of 693 hours and a maximum total talk time of almost eleven hours. The operating system uses the mobile phone manufacturers on Android with HTC’s own Sense interface.
Beats Audio
have to do without the entry in HTC’s smartphone portfolio to HTC’s Beats Audio technology. Thus, the HTC Desire has 200 as well as the premium model HTC One through a front speaker. But the sound quality should differ fundamentally, because the HTC one has a metal case and the HTC Desire 200 via a plastic housing as a resonance chamber.
a price called HTC has not yet, however, interpret the technical specifications of a device below the 150 euro mark down. Including availability, there is still no information from HTC.
