HTC One of the owners donated 25 dollars for Google Play. Actually, the action is only valid in the United States. Many users were also in Germany the gift credit.

HTC-One owners beware: The Taiwanese smartphone maker gives you 25 dollars for Google Play. After you have registered stating your serial number at HTC, you will receive in the coming weeks for a coupon code that you can redeem at Google Play. Officially, the promotion applies only to devices that from the 14 June 2013 in the U.S. went over the counter. Many users report, however, that acquired in Germany smartphones also work

Google Play: Redeem Code not always successful
