The rightholder IPCom has i n dealing with various mobile operators suffered two setbacks. The Munich district court dismissed an infringement action by IPCom, a mobile radio patent, also the German Federal Patent Court declared the German part of the European patent application 114 to be void. The amount in dispute was at 30 million euros each.

In proceedings before the Munich District Court are available to the patent exploiter O2/Telefonica as a defendant as well as Nokia and HTC against intervene. IPCom expects the same patent on a method for operating mobile networks also against other mobile operators before.
