News: HTC cooperates with Google Drive, TrekStor 'Volks' tablet, Vine Update

TrekStor image and present the folk tablet for 199 euros

It is well over 600 grams, a little heavy and not particularly thin – but the folk tablet from TrekStor and image is 199 euros a very affordable 10.1-inch tablet. It has a quad-core 1.6GHz processor, 2GB of RAM, a 10.1-inch IPS panel with a resolution of 1,366 x 768 pixels, a 8,000 mAh battery, a 5 – and a 2 megapixel cam, and 16 GB of internal memory.

Rounding out the device through its mini HDMI slot, a slot for a microSD card and Android 4.2.2 operating system. The tablet with the aluminum back is available at Saturn and Media Markt immediately above the price of 199 euros.

Me: Not the lightest, thinnest and best-equipped tablet under the sun, but for the price all okay. And hey – as a bonus, there are three quarter Photo Plus Digital free, who can ever say no? ;)

HTC and Google Drive: Partnership for more cloud storage

Who is the owner of a current HTC smartphones, will benefit, at least to be able to drill its storage in Google Drive tidy temporarily. explains Google itself, which benefit models which:

  • HTC One max (additional 50 GB for two years)
  • availability of the upgrade to HTC Sense 5 and higher for certain HTC models of 2013, including HTC One (additional 25 GB for two years)
  • Except

  • HTC One Developer Edition (due unlocked bootloader)
  • That is, you get two years up to 50 GB paid – quite a fine story for owners of these devices. HTC is thus the first manufacturer to offer such a deal here, normally we are used to deal with Dropbox or Box.net.

Me: is a pity that there is always the restriction to two years, yet but one thing that you can take once loose, anyway if you have the right equipment. I’m curious to see if Google will announce more deals of this kind.

Vine brings new features with update for iOS and Android

What is Instagram on Facebook, Vine is on Twitter. You could just read on the Twitter blog, which has been going on in the video service. There is an update for both the iOS and Android version and brings with it new features: Thanks to “sessions” can (up to 10 items at a time) save and edit later your works. With “Time Travel” is giving you the opportunity to work within a post all the scenes and rearranging. So quite an interesting update for friends of this service:

Me: Neither in nor Vine Instagram this video feature really has arrived for me. But anyone who has fixed it, benefiting from the fact that these two services are currently pushing each other so – Instagram is now back on the train
