HTC One - If a new version with octa-core? - Giga.de

Just yesterday Steffen has reported that Android 4.3 for the HTC one is waiting in the wings – a really good news! In general, there seems currently to HTC again to make something right. Beautiful top model, rapid updates. Sounds good. But not as good as it sounds in my ears that you already again could now have a refresh of a flagship in the pipeline. Really, HTC

current portfolio from HTC is clean (relatively) really. In addition to the HTC one, there is the HTC one Max and Mini. You can easily remember, and the products also differ significantly. Only in the Desire series there are (in my opinion) too many models, which do not differ much. But well, given the main thing is the top models are … top.

Unwired View reports about it but now that HTC e inen Refresh the current flagship HTC One could plan. One year ago, this was with the HTC One X + the case and the reactions of the HTC X-buyers were correspondingly negative. Of course, HTC has still pretty hard: While the HTC one is really a super smartphone, this is not reflected in sales again. But whether a refreshed one really goes in the right direction?

information about this new version are still over sparse and not necessarily safe . There is a picture of geleaktes System Information of the device, which was originally sent to the Greek website tech community. On this, the CPU, the RAM is called “octa-core” and indicated with 3GB.

The probability that this is a fake, is relatively large. In particular, the term “octa-core” is quite inaccurate. In fact, I do not know quite know what chip would obstruct HTC here. Samsung Exynos? MediaTek MT6592? Sounds both unlikely. HTC was actually far almost always Qualcomm true who do not have such a chip on offer. Also, the built-in HTC X Tegra 3 and its successors have not eight cores. A Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 here would have been much more likely.

Also on board were so then 3GB of RAM . I’m even (relatively proud) owner of a HTC one and must say that I did not have got done, the current 2GB RAM completely utilize. That would be more of a marketing Refresh . Because neither the RAM nor the CPU make much sense today.

is also still in the leak of a feature called “Clear Audio” , the speech, which is to contribute to the sound quality of phone calls is increased. Sounds a lot like a (software) to improve the mic, which picks up the noise on the rear and filters. Gorilla glass would also like 3 , which is thinner and lighter than the current generation of two.

moment I do not even really mind that this screenshot is real. Although HTC has proven in the past again and again that they like to throw a smartphone after the other on the market, but “Octa-core” as information is then something strange. And those pictures are just too easy to fake. What do you think?
