HTC Fetch: Bluetooth accessory to protect your smartphone - inside-handy.de

HTC has introduced Fetch a new accessory that helps you not to lose the smartphone. Using Bluetooth 4.0, the nearly 3 centimeters wide and long device connects to the HTC smartphone. If the devices remove more than 15 meters apart, both devices ring until you’re back within the 15-meter radius.

class=”c2″> HTC Fetch is powered by a standard button cell to provide electricity for half a year, according to HTC’s information. Since Fetch is very small, you can easily attach the device on his key ring. Thus, not only the smartphone, but the keys are secured. The HTC smartphone is also registered with a distance when you are outside the Bluetooth range, the last place of Fetch and helps the device later on.

In addition you have the possibility to locate the phone manually. By a button on Fetch, a loud beep on your phone is activated, if it is located nearby. You can also use the camera with Fetch and thus take pictures from a distance.

HTC Fetch will cost around 40 euros and is currently only available with the HTC and the HTC One Mini Butterfly S compatible. An update of HTC smartphones to Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, should other models added.
