Unsightly news from the house of HTC: The HTC one S is not considered with the Android Jelly Bean Update to version 4.2.x or even other versions, even though the phone is only a year old

This morning I wrote that Android 4.2.2 is currently being rolled out for the current flagship HTC One . The HTC One S comes from the prior year and is unfortunately not met with so much attention in software.

Where the term “attention” is probably the wrong choice, because HTC has the well tested and is of the opinion

that would no longer be in newer versions of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean as the installed that all the wheels fall so perfectly into each other. But let the HTC but better explain itself – a corresponding press release we received earlier:

From this point one can indeed might begin to understand the company’s decision, but at least for my personal feeling, it remains creepy, that it had no little money zulegt a smart phone whose operating system is already a year later too old for updates – or the technology in the device.
