Today we have for you the first pictures of the HTC Max One Then a Samsung patent from 2011 has surfaced, offering a first look at an alternative or even the future design and highlights that Samsung has not ever before to put on plastic. And who had hoped that the upcoming LG flagship G2 has a fingerprint scanner, will probably be disappointed.
HTC One Max: First pictures surfaced
Expected
is the big brother of HTC One in September. Final specifications we approach already for a while to. The current status provides the following:
processor | Qualcomm Snapdragon 800, 2.3 GHz | Memory | 2 GB RAM | display | 5.9-inch, 1080p, Super LCD 3 | Internal Memory | 16 GB + microSD slot | Battery | 3,300 mAh | Operating System | Android 4.3 |
No surprises in the design … / © HTC / ePrice / CNET
There are now also finally images. Who here expects surprises, will be disappointed. Even more: Apparently the One Max has the same polycarbonate frame as the Mini One. This is surprising because it had explicitly told me at HTC (though hardly credible, see my first impression of the One Mini), so that the mini has only a plastic frame, because it was not without in small size to build. Apparently this is true then probably for pretty much any size except that of the original HTC one …
… in principle it could also be the be one mini. / © HTC / ePrice / CNET Our rating: On the pictures there is nothing wrong. Something else we did not expect. Also, the release date in September makes sense, since the IFA finally finds place where some manufacturers (Samsung, Sony and more) to introduce their next big equipment.
Galaxy series: In the future, no more plastic
?
Long war rages of friends and enemies of polycarbonate, which is Samsung’s most popular lawyer on the internet and in the tech press. If there is one aspect that is almost universally criticized the Galaxy devices, it is next to the little imaginative design policy, the choice of materials. A patent from the year 2011 and 2012 now shows that the Koreans have long to think about material changes. Even a slightly squarer design is indicated here.
LG G2: Nano-SIM and no fingerprint scanner
fingerprint scanners are mentioned more often lately, and recently we reported that both Samsung and Apple are pushing in this direction, but have problems in mass production. What may have plans for whatever LG, the button on the back of G2 between the volume buttons, apparently is not a fingerprint scanner, but a power button. This emerges from a manual of G2, which has now become public. We can see this also, that the G2, just like the iPhone 5 and the Moto X, is based on a nano-SIM card.
